OCEAN LEECH BATTENS (Epoxy/Glassfibre)
For yachts between 40 and 50 ft.

The Ocean Battens have a rectangular shape which means that all the fibres on the Tension/Compression surfaces are taking an even load.
The Ocean Battens are extremly stiff, this is achieved by bonding high quality unidirectional glassfibres in the sailbatten under very high pressure.
Because the battens are so stiff you can choose a thinner crossection which improves the aerodynamics on the sail.
